HytteCare provides practical cabin care and maintenance in Hemsedal, Gol and surrounding areas. Whether you need a one-off job, seasonal work or someone to keep an eye on your cabin throughout the year, we're here to help.
Cabin checks
We'll check your cabin when you're away and let you know if anything needs attention.
Checks can include the interior and exterior, heating, water, locks, access, snow, storm damage and other visible issues.
Photos and updates can be provided after our visit.
Cleaning & cabin preparation
From regular cleaning to deep cleans and preparing the cabin before you or your guests arrive.
We can also coordinate linen, towels and other guest-ready requirements.
Painting & staining
Mountain cabins need regular protection from the elements.
We undertake exterior painting and wood staining projects, from smaller areas and maintenance coats to complete cabins, garages, terraces and outbuildings.

Small maintenance & repairs
Those small jobs can quickly build up when you don't live locally.
We can help with minor repairs, adjustments, fitting, replacement and general maintenance – and coordinate local tradespeople where specialist work is required.
Grass roofs & outdoor maintenance
Seasonal cutting and maintenance of grass and turf roofs, together with other practical outdoor jobs around the cabin.
Seasonal cabin preparation
Get your cabin ready for the changing seasons.
We can carry out autumn and winter checks, spring preparation, storm checks and other seasonal work.
Snow & access
Help with snow clearing around entrances, roofs, terraces and other areas.
Firewood
Firewood delivered to your cabin and, if requested, brought inside and made ready for your arrival.
Sauna & jacuzzi
Sauna and jacuzzi preparation, checks and jacuzzi cleaning so everything can be ready when you arrive.
Windows & gutters
Window cleaning and seasonal gutter cleaning can be arranged as required.
